    been reading fpgeeks awhile, and just bought a sweet Pelikan 400 from a member, piscov at Pena Lusa, which I expect is on wings as I write this.

    thanks, I liked Vasco's well chosen selection, and the transaction was very professional.

    my first Pelikan was bought in the early 90's, I later sold it for no good reason and have been wanting another since then, but guitars came first...

    I suppose I'll hunt some nibs for the 400 and wait for a m600 to use with modern nibs. I'm not a collector (yet) but a user looking for older juicy writers that can cook.

    Pelican is a good choice, I think. It is number two my list, to be number one after I have my Parker Vac restored. Of course it is very tempting to bump the Pelican to number one... My closest encounter with Sitka was flying over it on my way to Shemya Island via Achorage. I always wanted to see the real Alaska, but never made it back. Enjoy the Pelican!
