Here is a short review of a Campus notebook as it was requested on the chat.
- Size: B6
- Pages: 30 sheets
- Paper: 15 "lines" per page. The lining is for writing English (= Western languages). It reminds me of the notebooks I used in elementary school. The paper is a bit greyish - on the back of the notebook it says that it took 3 years of research to get to this color that does not strain the eye...yeah.
- Binding: glued
- Showthrough: very little
- Bleedthrough: none
- Feathering: almost none
- Smoothness: good (still fountain pen friendly)
- Drying Time: good
Overall I am pleasently surprised by the notebook. It is relatively cheap ($1.25 for 30 sheets) and the paper has nice properties. I also like the lining as it is perfect for writing practices - and I still need a lot of them. It does look a bit cheap (=> notebook for school), but it is nice on the inside.
I place it on par with Tsubame and above Muji paper: Tsubame looks nicer and has almost comparable paper qualities. Muji "fountain pen friendly" paper is smoother but has more showthrough and bleadthrough.
