Found my fathers old pen, is this a Lifetime?
Hi everyone,
As many probably have done I went and found my parents old pens they'd kept. I think this is a Sheaffer Lifetime. Can anyone confirm this and if so how easy is it to strip down and refurbish (it had a mostly empty dried cartridge in it when I opened it) and could I get a converter to fit it? nib1.jpgnib2.jpgsheaffer.jpg

Doesn't look like a "Lifetime, more likely a 550 GT.

Note, like Parker, Sheaffer has their own cartridge/converter formats. You will need Sheaffer cartridges and maybe the old style squeeze converter.

Imperial IV cartridge pen. The clip, nib and square end are the tell tale sign.
