    Default Father's old Parker pen

    Hi,

I found my Father's old Parker pen and am struggling to tell which model it is (thought it was a 61 but seems not) and whether I can get a converter to fit it (had an old cartridge in it when I found it) and what I might need to do to restore it. Any help greatly appreciated

The nib looks like it has had some adventures. I'd probably send it to a good nib meister who could get it back into its proper shape and tuned to write well. Parkers apparently only take Parker, Aurora and Levenger ink carts, so you'd need to use those or find a Parker converter to fit it.

I guess another challenge is to find someone in the UK who can restore the nib

This is a Parker 65. You've been pointed in the right direction. The Battersea or Pen Museum folks are both excellent.
    Best Regards, greg

Yup, Greg nailed it. More information can be found here.
So any Parker converter will work with it.

I agree that the nib has had better days, but it will not hurt to try it out.
