Mighty warm today. No rain in the forecast. Pens near melting. The metal ones. Can only write in the shade. Ink dries before it hits the paper. Words just sit there in mid air until they fall like autumn leaves onto the paper. Sky blue, clouds white. Ferocious flying feathered felons sitting and panting. Lizards sitting with mouth open and tongues out.
