Hello everyone; this is my first post to FP Geeks
I have come into possession of a USA made Parker 45 Insignia, which started in production in 1964. This one has a 3 stamped onto the clip screw. There is gold all the way down into the stamp so the 3 was stamped before the gold plate was applied. So my question is this; Does this indicate that the pen was made in 1963 and was a pre-production model or does the 3 mean something quite different. I have already had a couple of replies on FPN with a picture showing another 45 Insignia with a 3 stamp and another reply stated that a Parker 61 has the same stamp. Does anyone else have one and can anyone postulate a theory as to what this stamp actually means.
Thanks in advance for all the help anyone gives
