    Default Converter For 1970 Scheaffer 440 (Quasi-Imperial)

    Greetings,

I have just begun my adventures with vintage pens. I bought a Scheaffer 440 with a sac, press bar, type of converter. When I cleaned the pen the converter was leaking water so I suspect the sac has become detached. I intend to repair it in the future. In the meantime, are there any modern converters or cartridges that will fit the 440?

    Best Regards,
    Armstrong

The current Sheaffer cartridges fit and so does the current Sheaffer piston converter, which I prefer to the squeeze filler.
