Nope, not sure at all... Will check before purhase, thank you for bringing this to my attention
Check on Amazon.de, there are often M200's around €60 or just above. The piston version (M) is called "Kolbenfüller", the P is "Patronenfüller".

You might want to rethink the Pelikano. It's awesome.

Oh I'm sure I'll get one of these as well, even bid on one on ebay lately. I love pens that are supposedly school pens - Lamy Safari& Nexx, Pilot Kakuno, so I'm sure this will be a lovely one too.
( Also, our 6 yo is starting first grade soon. He must have a pen especially suited for kids, right?
No matter that kids only use pencils in first grade + I'm sure his teachers will be baffled by the contraption as it's quite uncommon around here )

A little over a year ago (first qtr 2014) I paid $46 for a near new condition M150 on ebay. Great little pen.

Pen arrived, and the nib is sort of... wobbly. First fix was to push it closer to the section as it seems to have slid too far somehow as if it was trying to flee the pen 😂, but it still moves a bit too much for my liking...

I expect the nib unit collar was cracked.

Think about the same. Last time i need to order a replacement from Custompenparts for my 140 after lend it to a friend. Don't know what he did to it, luckily the nib is till in perfect shape, so i think he didn't drop it.

BTW, you could sometime get a used M200 or M150 at ~$30-40, but it will need ton of luck. I did win a bid at $32 for a used black M200, have some heavy cosmetic tear and wear, but the nib and pistol are just perfect. And i also won another bid for a new M205 solid red at 42 Euro from Martini Auctions.

I just paid $50 SHIPPED for a M200 with an OB nib on ebay. Derby cap top/marbled body. The same day I got mine another identical (except nib) one went for the same price from the same seller.

Runnin_Ute would you mind posting the link to the seller you got your pen from?

This one looks like a good choice for $37.00 with free shipping:
