Default Twsbi 850: Post your reviews and impressions

A nice-er looking pen from Twsbi was recently shown in the prototype stages, what do you guys (and gals) think?

Nice looks, but the step b/w the barrel and the section is too large.

It does look good. I just wonder how much of the pen is going to be metal. I expect this one is going to have better plastic / and or moulding to resolve any cracking issues. Looks like by the drawings it might post pretty good too. Kinda sexy !

I hope by the time of release that they have solved the cracking issue--or else they will have pens cracking at the ink view window!

Well they don't have the mini problem solved yet. And my 540 just cracked today ... Along the barrel.

If I am not entirely mistaken the 850 is an all-metal pen. This should clear the cracking issues completely.

A metal pen the size of a Twsbi 540 means a lot of weight (unless they go for a thin aluminam). We'll just have to wait.

There is a small plastic ink view window. Otherwise it is an all metal pen.

huhhh, didn't know that. From the pictures I get the impression that the ink window joins barrel and section. Just hope this is not going to become a "weak spot". Oh well, we'll see...
