Road Trip to the Chicago Pen Show!

I'll be leaving this Sunday, April 25th, for the Chicago Pen Show.

1,975 miles of anticipation and fun! =)

Overnights will include:

• Cedar City, Utah
• Glenwood Springs, Colorado
• North Platte, Nebraska
• Ankeny, Iowa (home of our own dannzeman!)
• Chicago (of course)

If anyone knows of "must see" locations (pen related or otherwise) along the route, please let me know.

Also, I've not yet planned the route back home and would prefer not to take the exact same route, so I'm open to suggestions.

So, Fountain Pen Geeks - what would you like to see from the Chicago Pen Show? What can dannzeman and I report that would be of interest?

Wow Eric, I thought my 2000 mile round trips back & forth from Minnesota to Texas were long. I have made four of those trips in the last 5 months. We will have to see if we can plan a meeting in Ankeny. We might be somewhat flexible about when we come through. I will have to sit down and do some figuring inorder to see.
