Down at work too. Slightly inconvenient but no biggie. Incidentally, FPN is the only website that I frequent that has these outages.

The person who suggested the problem is with the ads may have a point. I just enabled Adblock plus on FPN and got this, a welcome change from the internal server error messages.
The Fountain Pen Network database is currently in maintenance mode.

Nothing to do with Adblock. I have had it turned on from the start and it has never caused issues on the page as far as I can tell. I too am getting the above message now, which appears to be a response from the Admin team rather than simply an automated message.

It's offline they are having some problems (with their data base). Maybe the Chinese are hacking their data base, beware.
