I am sure it would have been possible to find a decent cap, but the shipping is so expensive that it was not worth my while just for curiosity. With the currency conversion and import duties I now have to pay for items from the US plus the shipping I have had to stop buying anything on ebay. Though I have been browsing around and seen some curiosities.

LOL - I am not even going to fix that. Let us adopt it for all the curiosities we see on the 'bay.

A nice improvisation with the clip.

My typing has degenerated as I have become old, so I cast no stones. My house, so to speak, is becoming glass.

Getting old sucks. I have complained to my physician about it, but she has pointed out the less attractive alternative.

Not pen related, though I'm sure I could find an association if I really tried, but most defunitely starnge is the following:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/VERY-RARE-OL...32033953&rt=nc

... and just in case you thought that was a one-off, here's another from different seller.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/VERY-RARE-OL...12060022&rt=nc

Though as both sellers are in Portugal they could be the same person.

There's also some airline cutlery out there for sale. Mint TWA tea spoons, Canadian Airlines knives and so on.

    Starnge old world really.

I did not realize that airline cutlery was collectible. I have knives forks and spoons from a number of existing and extinct airlines from the days before terrorism spread to the civilized world.

In that case I shall round them all up and try to translate them in to a nice new pen.
