Edited: Bold2013 stated 24 hours and that had passed by the point you posted - sorry but I will respect his statement and not draw him into a public discussion. The pen is now his.

Sorry I just saw this as work has been busy. I would love for Panjak123 to have this pen if it's ok with the original owner.

Quick update: Apologies for the delay. I looked in the cupboard and found I didn't have enough padded envelopes or customs stickers. That's now resolved. Everything is packed and will be posted on Tuesday.

Please excuse the lack of any letter/note with the pens. The last time I posted a pen I was cross examined at the counter and they told me that if there was a letter with the pen they would have to charge me letter rates (rather than parcel rates). How true that is I don't know but I'm not going to risk it (and I'm no good at poker so bluffing isn't an option).

Ah, yes. Bureaucracy is bureaucracy the world over. I went through something similar when trying to ship a large-ish book. The postal drone had considerable difficulty deciding whether I could send it book rate or if it counted as a parcel.
I'll be thrilled with whatever I get for my students whenever it arrives.
Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.

Default Some pens that I no longer use

I received my Goldfink today. I inked it up with Rohrer & Klingner Sepia.
Here I am using it in my distillation logbook, a Black n Red casebound.

Sure makes log records more interesting to view.

Update: I know that all but two pens have made it to their new owners now.

I do hope customs/postal service issues aren't going to create big delays for the last two.

So that is their excuse for my annual cheque being late.

Still no show on pen. :-(

When I sent Mike his samples for the PIF, they disappeared completely. And a pair of running shorts I ordered shows that they arrived in Lafayette, but when they were transferred from UPS to the post office for delivery, they disappeared. I am hoping the pen hasn't gone the same way. It's very strange. Maybe it's alligators.

At this rate I'm assuming it will either come back to me or disappear into the the vastness of the USPS system.

Thank you very much for the PIF. I love the pen's snakeskin pattern.

Wow - looks like the alligators didn't like it.

Your local postal service certainly is unusual in its unparalleled speed!

    Enjoy the pen.

It would be the Eberhard Faber Permapoint fountain pen that I would most enjoy. I seem to be into green... again.

Thank you for your kind gifting.
