Anyone excited about 2016? L2k = 50!

I would like to see a red Lamy 2000. I think Lamy offered this color some years back on a very limited basis, but at a ridiculously high price. It would be great if a red 2000 were offered as a limited edition at a reasonable price.

...sounds tough with the brushed finish, but how about colored titanium? The pen would be as light as the Makrolon version, as minimalist as the stainless steel version, and available in pretty much any color you like!

I've never heard of colored titanium. Couldn't they make a red Makrolon? I don't mean a painted Mak, but rather, one that's just flat out red.

Special K - that's what they did with the 1 of 1 edition a couple years ago. Makrolon is available in a large number of colors - including clear and white.

Wow, never thought about that - there would have to be a plastic/makrolon inner sleeve to contain the ink, but that's what's inside the stainless 200M anyways, right? Great idea! I really like the 2000 ballpoint pens in taxus and blackwood, well, I like their looks, considering that they are BPs

Have to admit, I saw pix of the 2016 Safari LE in dark lilac, and I'm already saving up. So pretty. I know people like Safaris or don't, but I happen to, and a deep rich purple one is right up my alley.

Well, Lamy hasn't released a *winner* since the Safari, and that was 35 years ago, so maybe they'll grasp this opportunity...
