I picked up a Mark I Parker 21 today for less than a happy meal. A quick cold-water rinse and it's good-To-go! This impresses the heck out of me, for a 65 yo writing tool! I'm taking a lot of satisfaction from writing with it.

Congratulations on your lucky find!
Enjoy it. I enjoy the few that I own. Compared to the 51, the plastic material used on the barrel is more fragile and tends to break. I haven't broken a barrel but had to make a frankinpen using a spare barrel on a pen that I found as a teenager.

I bought one of these to satisfy my curiosity. It writes more reliably than my Sonnets.
My very first FP, given to me when I was 11 years old. That was a looooong time ago !
And yes, I still have it, and it writes.
I have two P51 and one Sonnet but I want to but a P21 to learn more about.
Thanks for sharing
