Default Mother of pearl and abalone shell shell pens...

Wanted to share some images of these pens... Two are Taccia and one is a franken pen combo... Kone BB 18k on a Laban Abalone pen... These are in my daily rotation and the surface colors are beautiful and ever changing with the light.

My favourite is the middle one in the top photo.

Do you need to take any special care to protect the surfaces of them ?

The middle one is the Taccia. The nib on that one is really smooth. No special care. They have a lacquer over the shell which makes them easy to clean.
