    Default A small victory

I've just finished my very first actual fountain pen repair: I replaced the broken clip on my favorite Skyline with the clip from another Skyline. Not much, but I'm not a very handy person and I feel good about it. And special thanks to Richard Binder, whose instructions on how to do this are fantastic. Fidgety stuff, especially with my fat fingers. But yay, my nice pen can go back to the pocket.

    Well done.
It is allways nicer when it is done by oneself.
    Enjoy it.

I know what you mean. I have yet to venture into repairs, but I would like to try my hand at it. I understand replacing sacs is quite easy.

    Yes, well done.

Working on pens can be very rewarding - and sometimes very frustrating, but that's life!

Congratulations. I had used fountain pens for over forty years before I tried fixing one with helpful information from another pen forum. Each fix I did gave me a great feeling and more confidence. There's a lot of help available from other members.
