    Default Inserting logo into signature

I figured out how to put the inkdrop logo into my signature some while ago. Today I inadvertantly deleted said image and now after an hour of trying, have failed to put it in. Help!

My image is on my webshots page and that page gives three ways to do this (so it says):
post in your blog or website
    direct link to image
    post in a forum

I've tried all three. How do I do this? Thank you!

P.S. noticed this at the bottom of my signature page: "Can Upload Images for Signature
No" This would seem to indicate why I am having trouble. But why was I able to do so previously if it was set like this?

Maybe I should be asking how do I change the permissions on my signature page?

Are you sure that is here? I saw that images are blocked in signatures. You don't have a way of changing that permission. Only the forum admin can do that.

Ah! perhaps not. I do get the two forums confused! I am beginning to like FPGeeks Forum a bit more than the other guys...so...we shall see. To any admins allowing images (one?) in signature seems reasonable.

I think they do that to keep the thread stream looking cleaner. It is also a spam control thing to a lesser extent.

Yes, inserting a logo into your email signature is relatively simple. Inserting a logo into your email signature offers several benefits, professional photo retouching service both practical and professional. Make sure your logo is in a web-friendly format (JPG, PNG, or GIF) and not too large to ensure it loads properly for recipients.

First off, if the option at the bottom of your signature page says "Can Upload Images for Signature: No," that definitely explains why you're having trouble. It’s possible that the platform you’re using has changed its settings or that your permissions were adjusted, which could be why you were able to upload the logo before but can’t now. Sometimes platforms update their policies, so it’s worth checking their help section or forums for any recent changes.

Since you mentioned your image is on your Webshots page and you've tried linking it in different ways, let’s focus on the direct link method. Make sure you have the correct URL for the image itself, not just the page it’s on. You’ll want to right-click on the image and select “Copy Image Address” (or similar) to get the direct link.

After that, try pasting that link directly into your signature settings again. If it still doesn’t work because of those permissions, you might need to look for an alternative hosting solution for your logo, like Imgur or Dropbox, which often allow image links without those restrictions. If you're feeling adventurous and want to change those permissions, check if there’s an option in your account settings or profile settings related to signatures or image uploads. If you can’t find anything, reaching out to support for guidance would be a good move.
