    Default Playing with bambboo again - Manu Propria

    This week I felt like playing around with some bamboo pieces.
    It is a pretty large bamboo pen. Section and end pieces made from ebonite. Finish "fuki-urushi" rubbing ki-urushi into the surface.

    While I really am not a fan of Bamboo pens, just never saw one in a style I liked I guess, this one is BEAUTIFUL !!!

    I love how the cap has the natural section showing it is bamboo and then the body is smooth and true and showing off the beauty of the wood.

    As I like to say "Ebonite section perfection" LOVE a nice warm to the touch ebonite section.
