    Default Hello from Florida's Space Coast

    Hello, everyone...

    I am a teacher from Brevard County, Florida and after seeing my students' handwriting degrade over the past ten years, I felt that I needed to insure that I was practicing my own handwriting to insure it doesn't degrade from lack of use in this technological age. I also had the need to return to the days of using a Dayrunner to keep track of appointments and meetings.

    I have been practicing calligraphy on and off since I was a teenager and got into fountain pens in the past year or so. I have heard about this website via Youtube and was happy to find a flourishing community centered around fountain pens, inks and handwriting!

    I look forward to interacting with everyone here in the future!

    Welcome to Crazytown! On a side note, I used to spend a bit of time in your neck of the woods when I was working on the Space Shuttle program. Loved it there.

    They have a campaign to bring cursive handwriting skills back to the classroom.

    I have no affiliation with them other than I believe it's a good cause.
