Just a little sketch to prevent my mind from getting frayed.

Is this a fountain pen sketch or a sketched fountain pen?

...probably the second. Only few lines were draw with a fountain pen. Most of the pattern was drawn with a brush pen.

Been too busy to be more than a lurker lately. But thought I would post some quick sketches made in some few free minutes I had a month or so ago, on Rhodia dot pad and Strathmore tinted papers. Can't remember the ink, but I have been hovering around Diamine Chocolate Brown a lot lately (though the first one might be in Stipula Green Musk). Thanks for looking, as always, and GUNG HAY FAT CHOY, too. My daughter is proud to be a Rooster.

A couple of sketches I found in an old Holbein Muti-Drawing Book. I hope my plant people are not too monotonous.

It's been a while since I posted one of my sketches from my trusty TWSBI Mini. Still with the ink that it is practically married with: Diamine Ancient Copper.

I was at the huge Half-Priced Bookstore yesterday for a few hours waiting to pick up my daughter from her choral performance (St Matthew's Passion). And I was flipping through a book abut Giambattista Piranesi, an extraordinary artist and designer who was famous for his etchings of ancient architecture of Rome (He is also famous for imaginary landscape drawings <-- sounds like a couple of artists I know).

I only had my TWSBI Mini yesterday in my bag, so I quickly do my sketch inspired by one of Piranesi's. And I realized that I missed sketching with this pen.

I used to sketch with this pen a lot, but lately it has been taking notes in business meetings.
