In Looney Tunes cartoons, ACME is the fictional company which is a running joke.
ACME means "peak or zenith" in Greek.
So here's my imagination of an ACME factory plant:
Pen: TWSBI Mini (F)
Ink: Diamine Ancient Copper

A few quick sketches, done with fountain pens on watercolor or bristol paper while needing a break from soul-swallowing administrative chores.

I love the atmosphere that comes out of it. With just a few simple strockes! What a talent!!!
Thank you, Marsilius.

I love two things:
1. The expressions (or is it a non-expression) accomplished with such minimal number of strokes
2. The background. I love hatching technique (I can't do a decent job of it, but... i love it) that conveys the sense of dimension or space

Here are a few more quick sketches, with experimental smearing. The colored inks are R Chocolate and Ebony Blue. On Bristol paper, and the blue tint is mostly from the light where took the photograph.

I do like your drawings. Indeed I do.
And the last one is amazing. There is a relief sensation, in it. very amazing.
Congratulations.

Thank you for the lovely comments. I dream of more time to sketch, especially after an eleven-hour day of committee meetings.

I can understand you. And you should. There is something very original in your sketchings.
I'm experimenting with using 2 colors of ink in a single sketch:
Ink: Diamine Ancient Copper + R&K Alt GoldGrun
Pen: TWSBI Mini + Esterbrook J with Osmiroid B4 nib
This time we travel to Africa. The Sudd Marshland is a vast wetland in South Sudan. Having the Nile as the source, people there live in a network of village "islands" surrounded by narrow water passages between papyrus and hyacinth growth.

Some tree and rock sketches. Most of these were done with an old Golden Rule fountain pen and a forgotten black ink. Thanks for looking!

At the risk of over saturation, here are four more quick sketches. These were all done on watercolor paper with one of my favorite inks of all time, the elusive Sailor Jentle Rikyu Cha (elusive because it is no longer available, and because it is often not clear what color and shade of green or brown it actually is). You probably won't be able to see that much for two reasons: 1. Fine needle and light touch, and 2. Lousy photography on my part. Thanks for looking.
Yep, more tree people. Since I can remember, I have always seen faces in trees, and it is an easy way to get the pen moving.
