I had to look up what you were referring to. I don't even know how to respond to that news. I always slightly feel ill when EMTs are targeted. That's an attack on your own community and everyone pays a price for such actions.

Pira, I'm hoping it was a case of mistaken identity, though that doesn't make it any less tragic; the investigation has just started. My lovely wife and I both work for this department and even though I might not have personally known him, it really hits home. Public safety truly is a family.

I´m sorry to here something like that
I googled it, it's unbelievable that people which were called to help were shot.
Weapons kill people, I´m happy that we have very strict weapon laws here in Europe and that not every Noob has access to weapons like in the US.

So it's really close to home for you. I am so very sorry for you all. I also hope that it was accidental but either way it won't lessen the pain felt by friends and family .

Having too much fun using my Hobonichi planner to doodle the SOTD in it
Drew it with a Parker 25 fountain pen (man, I love that pen) and then added some color with Deleter 'brush-tip' pens that paints kind of like watercolor.

    The sketch:

    Ptero,
As the thread owner, may I ask that you refrain from making comments like the above? (I'm asking from an individual to another, no censorship intention here )
Those kind of comment will only spur retaliatory responses and it doesn't help anyone.

    EDIT: Clarify intention.

Darkbulb ~ that journal of yours is coming along really nicely. I do hope you are also blogging those photos of your collection.

...and by the way, your 4711 takes me back to my childhood. My grandmother (whom I grew up with) used to dab some on my pillow each night before I went to sleep. It reminds me of soft comforts and dreams....
