Another sketch with a Sheaffer.
A Sheaffer Crest Touchdown this time.
I'm back to one of my favorite subjects to sketch: rural landscapes. This time featuring a forgotten farmstead whose time-worn look makes it even cooler. In my eyes, at least.
One of the fascinating aspect of sketching is within the process of adding details. In this part, you get to define the story of the subject that you're sketching. This is why I don't need reference pictures or photos for very long, but just enough to give me an idea on the structure and proportions. The rest of the time, I am having fun telling the story in my own way.

Very nice, penwash. And although it may not be the point for you, I appreciate your ability to draw that well in such a small sketchbook (judging from the size of the pen).
