Got this nib with a broken pen attached to it.
So I had to fit it somewhere, and I thought might as well pick a pretty celluloid body

The sketch is of an old scale as found in old markets, weighing asparagus spears.

I watched the animation movie “Addams Family 2019” over the holidays and it inspired me to sketch my version of the character “Wednesday Addams.”

This Parker Duo-Vac is very pretty.

Why these vertical striped vacumatic Parkers are not as popular as their horizontal cousins. Obviously not because they are inferior writers.

I would not call that a 'sketch'. To me, that is fine art portraiture.

One of the questions that I got asked often is this: Which nib size should I use to sketch with fountain pens?

My simple answer is: It's relative to the size of your sketch.

Typically, my sketch is small because I started to do it on a no.12 Rhodia pad. So for those, I find XF or F sized nibs to be the best. But if the pen has an M or B or BBB?

    Well, sketch something bigger.

The size of the drawing is approximately 7x5 inches.

By the way, the pen, a Sheaffer Imperial Gold-filled 14k with Crosshatch pattern, is my favorite for the week.
