That's what made me curious as well. And this pen reminds me again that fat barrels are comfortable to write with.

I just sent for one. Apparently, all I have to do is swear off buying pens and magically, one appears that I need.

    Oh, and just because...

Flowers that don't exist....done in black ink with no visual reference on a paper- towel-quality notebook page with my right hand.

    I am left-handed.

This is what I used to be able to do with my dominant hand. Far out of practice now.

I'm going to try a little sketching every day.

You have crazy good skillz. Almost scary with those delicate hatches.

Images from a card. I don't have any fp-worthy paper that's not dotted or gridded. This is some cream color Rhodia or Clairefontaine.

    Love those little flowers, Sailor!

And now, a pair of sketches, experimenting on the idea of "a corner of an ancient Chinese garden..."

Or... whatever excuse I can come up with to use that formidable LIFETIME Sheaffer 14K nib. LOL!

    Indeed yes! Ink, please?

Got this Tachikawa years ago. They still make them, I think, at just a bit more than the $5 I paid. Ink is a mix of Diamine Twilight and, well, black. The Plumix is loaded with MI 35.

    Thank you!
The nib on this pen somehow encourages short but expressive lines.
And the Matsu-Kaze ink is perfect to render a miniature pine (matsu) tree.

I find this drawing very appealing. You/ or the pen have managed both to capture the simplicity/ idea/ essence of simplicity.... And that's a feat
