    Default The last three Iroshizuku...

Three new colors of the Iroshizuku line have just been released and are available in shops in Japan:

Take-sumi (竹炭): bamboo charcoal. A black ink.
Ama-iro (天色): sky color. A light blue.
Shin-kai (深海): deep sea. A dark blue.

Apparently, this completes the gamut--a total of 24 inks.

Will that be true given the money involved in this inky business?

Now, be aware of how much you pay for those!

    Cheers,

    Iosepus

24 inks is quite an extensive range.
Given the dedicated following the Iroshizuku inks have I'd expect they would do a yearly limited release ink in the near future.

The new colors don't do anything for me.

Is there any material difference in these inks from other good quality inks? I have a bottle of their Kiri-same, which I really like. I'm convinced that it actually flows better and generally looks better on paper to me, but my assessment is not very scientific or objective.

Thanks for the link. The poster presentation of all the inks is very appealing. It is tempting to add a few more to the collection.

Those WANCHER inks appear to be good value at $7.50 for 100ml. In particular Green Matcha.

I also quite like the look of the Platinum #3776 CENTURY BOURGOGNE.

I would love to own one of those posters. I have never tried the Wancher inks but yes they are a good price.

If they sold a Bourgogne with a Music nib I would buy one straight away!!!

Me too. Pilot now needs to do a new one with all 24 inks.
