I can attest he's alive and mysterious as ever.

OK,I have to plead ignorance.......is this the same Eric
that's usually seen in the Italian pen forum on FPN? I confess I haven't seen much of
him there either......
John
Last twitter reports have him relaxing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The Eric I was speaking of frequented the Italian pen forum on FPN
and was the go-to guru for those seeking info on Omas pens.

Unless that happens to be eriquito at FPN (http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/fo...5517-eriquito/) then no, we are not talking the same person.

Nope, has to be a different person--I was talking with
him on FPN before `09.

I know which Eric you're talking about, and he isn't Eric from fpgeeks. I wonder what's up with him (Omas Eric). Hope all is well.
I apologies if this has been covered in other threads but from what I recall there used to be another curator of the website in the same way that Dan and Sbrebrown are. I was wondering what happened to him as those "Awesome Reviews" made for some good balanced reading.
He is spending time in Mexico from what I hear.

I miss Eric. I miss FPTV, too. Which I never really used to watch, but now it's gone...
"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.

At a certain point, Eric seems to have decided that nobody needs more than 12 pens so he didn't realty fit in the community anymore
I miss the FPTV too...
here men from the pennet earth
first set nib on the moon
we came in peace for all penknid
FYI, I merged the "What Happened to Eric?" thread with the original "WHERE IS ERIC?" thread.

Well since you combined them my theory is that the cartels captured him and holding for ransom. They are asking for the m800 tortious and a few other pens as pell as a lifetime supply od parker penman sapphire ink. Unfortunately Lisa Anderson says no one is worth her supply of the ink. I guess all hope is lost to get Eric back.

I suspect the Englishman who was keeping him as a pet forgot to re-licence him when getting the dog, fish, cat and half-bee papers updated.
Given to daily lunatic raving, but also capable of more prolonged pen-centricity.

He happily lives in my basement. Please send me ink and pens to pass on. No, no scam, really!
I think with the recent news on fpgeek we all need to be asking this question again: where is Eric????
