    Default Sailor 1911M Demonstrator

My newest acquisition, the Sailor 1911M Demonstrator with the music nib:

What a blast! I'm thinking now that maybe I should have gotten the large one, rather than the medium, but this one is a lot of fun.

Actually, I think the Large might be better, but then I prefer bigger, fatter pens. The music nibs is fun to write with, though.

Nice photos Dee8go. I've the local pen shop in Sydney recommend Sailor a few times as having the best nibs.

I have heard that about the Sailor nibs, too. This one is not particularly flexible, but with a little practice I have learned to get the line variation I wanted by rolling the pen in my fingers as I write. I once had the pleasure of writing with a Pelican Souveran M1000 and really have an itch to buy one of those. Maybe at the big pen show in Washington next August.
