Mont Blanc model 1837159 Rollerball - Anyone know the history of this model?

I'm hoping someone can tell me some more about this pen I inherited from my grandmother. I scoured the Internet looking for information to no avail, maybe there's a site I haven't checked yet. Anyway, the pen is a Mont Blanc Fat Nickel Pen, model number 1837159. If you have any documentation depicting the history of this model I would really appreciate the help.
