Hi to all from Canada

I have just begun to collect fountain pens lately. In August 2012 I decided to write my memoirs and dug out my old Osmiroid pen from 1972. I hadn't used it for nearly 40 years when I wrote poetry. After a little time I decided I would look into another fountain pen so I could alternate colours of ink and too I needed some ink. Within days I was swooning at the wonderful pens available online and before long settled on an Aurora Optima Auroloide pen in Blue. Once bitten by the bug, away I went and here I am now 15 pens later and counting. Oh, I forgot to mention 10 bottles of various coloured inks!

Hi Leo, and welcome to FPGeeks! There are a few local pen clubs in Ontario---in London ( http://www.londonpenclub.com/ ), Ottawa ( http://ottawafountainpensociety.org/ ), Toronto (check FPN member saskia_madding's posts) and Cambridge. As far as I know, the last two don't have websites.....
