    Default First Wahl: Who can identify the year and model?

    Just got my first Wahl.



    Sadly it loses its cap, the one in the picture is a random Ambassador cap I have lying around (anyone have a spare that matches the body by any remote chance?)

    But man, now I know why people like the nib:

    I've some good/bad news for you. I don't think that pen ever had a cap! I think it is a desk pen, that happens to be missing its tail. Note the lack of threads where a cap would screw on. A desk base and socket are much easier to find than a cap.

    Now that makes sense.
    No wonder the barrel ends with a hole, that must be where the tail screws in.
