Knives are nice. Here is a pair of camp knives from Larry Mensch.

    Hi Jar
A beautiful pair of knives. Knives can be things of beauty can't they?! Here are
three more knives you might enjoy.

    6948895935_f3755bcc41_z.jpg

These are three knives from ESEE with custom made handles. The first is an ESEE-6 with Honduran Rosewood Burl scales. The next is a ESEE-5 with Madagascar Ebony scales...this is essentially a pry-bar with a knife edge...it was developed for helicopter pilots to cut and pry their way out of wreckage and to survive afterward. The third is the super useful ESEE-4 with a handle of Museum grade Bird's Eye Maple.

    Best regards mate

Love those knives. I EDC a small pocket knife but it is a cheap thing. It holds its edge very well so I keep it. Looking to get a nicer folder soon.

David Brodziak is an Australian knife maker who has been kind enough to make several knives for me. This one is an Ebony and White Lexan handled Camp Knife.

Next a Sheoak and Myal handled Hunter.

    Finally a Bowie.

    Hi mate
If you are looking for a great folder here are two you might want to consider: the Fallkniven PTL

Sorry for the quality of these shots. This is an expensive knife but it is the smoothest folder I have ever experienced. The blade is 3G powdered super-steel and it holds a razor sharp edge even after heavy use.

Here is the Chambriard Le Trappeur which is an absolute dream. It is beautiful, strong and holds an edge that is frighteningly sharp...good edge retention too.

The scales are of Juniper wood and smells great. Each knife has fret-work done individually by hand. The blade lock-up is very strong. The sheath is the most buttery leather, thick and luxurious.

My two cents worth. Thanks for dropping by mate.

    Cheers

Forgot about this. I think I like the Fallkniven P with the black scales.

Just stumbled onto this thread. Great to see a few people after my own heart!
My wife thinks it's weird that I have a bunch of fountain pens (why would I need more than one??) but thinks it's far weirder that I have a bunch of cool knives (pocket, locking, and fixed) - like one can have too many knives...

A great thread.. Wonder why did it stopped?!

I myself love the craftsmanship and visual appeal of knives, but never started a collection (and that's the weird part of it, i'm a natural born addict).. Now, and i'm afraid to tell my wife, i think i'll begin something small.

I quite like knives (and I really like razors). Here's three small homemade Scandinavian types with stock blades:

    knives1.jpg

As for flowers, they're even nicer but I don't often feel the urge to photograph them. This one was really asking for it!
