Some of the recent ink technology has really improved the writing experience of ballpoints although tend to prefer gel and rollerballs and I've many more Mechanical pencils than I actually need.

yep thats for sure because i have got lamy safari, parker im my fav, pilot v pen, parker fronier and a duke 209 matte black and cheep tesco and poundland pens these are all fountain pens that i have so far will be getting more soon.
Is it weird that after fountain pens, my writing instrument of choice is actually a Bic Cristal? Given how good they are, spending more on a biro just seems wasteful to me...
