InCoWriMo 2016 anyone?

I'm in. 1st InCoWriMo year. I've mailed out more than 1 per day, and I'm getting cards and letters back already.

It's not really a database, but there is a page where people can post their addresses. You can also choose people to write to by sending a PM in Facebook.

On the right side of that page there are links to other people who have either endorsed InCoWriMo or offered a willingness to receive letters. One of the notable celebrities who have endorsed InCoWriMo is HRM Elizabeth II of England.

If you're OK with people who may not be participating in InCoWriMo specifically, and the "rules" certainly don't require that, here are 3 sources for more people:

A World of Snail Mail takes a few posts to get cleared to see addresses, but there are lots of people there.

And the old FPN has a long running Penpals thread.

And as the previous post said, the InCoWriMo site has a lot of stuff from 2015 that may be good this year, plus some people who are posting this month in the comment section.

I have 14 out so far and I am going to my PO box today to see if anything has come in.

Received my first three letters yesterday. Such an amazing feeling opening that PO Box and finding letters waiting. Having so much fun with this challenge!

I've re-purposed some greeting cards by taking the front off and making it into a post card. Mine are 6 3/8 x 4 5/8. They work perfect for oversize postcards. I have the same for several dozen Christmas cards, too.

12 letters out as of mail pickup today. Remember Monday is a holiday in the US.

Haven't touched any new addresses, but today's reply will finish off my pile of 2015 letters, this latest one from mid June.

I'm not proud to have procrastinated so much, but I am proud to get through the backlog. It has been a lot of fun, too, and I've run that 0.6mL Platinum converter out of Éclat de Saphir. What color next... Sei Boku? Pigment Blue? Blue Velvet? Hmm.

Many other non blue and other blues inked in other pens, so just looking at some recently acquired blues for a Platinum Chartres 3776 F. Shigure is also a possibility, or Majestic Blue, but everyone seems to be using that.
