I believe Woody Allen types all his scripts. Then has someone take it to a potential actor to read it and then give the copy back.
During the pandemic, I saw on the TV a report of people who were passionate about typewriters.

And I read that some writers used typewriters with a digital output to a computer, to avoid being distracted by the Internet.
