Philadelphia pen show 2016

Well I've started my journey south.



As some know, Philadelphia is going to be in a blizzard tomorrow. Up to 14 inches with 60 mph winds. White outs are to occur.

I live in the burbs of NYC and the snow will be nothing. 2 to 6 inches. Thus this is my first time traveling to worse weather. Yes I'm nuts.

But hey where better to be than stuck in a hotel with fountain pen people and fountain pens.

I'm taking the train to grand central station and catch a train to philly. Woohoo no driving.

Well the snow storm has created chaos. Half the vendors are not here. The room is busy with us brave (aka nuts) fountain pen people.



The first place the group hit this morning....FC booth. Here's pics of the proto types. Sorry for crummy pics. The room is dark and lighting does nothing to bring out the pens beauty.

I got an 02 in Franklin green. Tracy Lee got Panther 40 with bands of Franklin green.
The Franklin green matches the ink they made for the show.
