The MR comes in fountain, gel or hybrid ballpoint and is available in sleek black, champagne or silver. All come with a Middle Ring bearing a simple design.


And one of you is going to be writing with one of these pens very, very soon.
All you have to do is leave a comment below telling us which of the Pilot MR pen range that you would like to have. One winner will be randomly selected to win the pen of his or her choice. The contest ends Nov. 30 and the winner will be announced the next day.

The MR appears to be the same as the Metropolitan as seen on the GouletPens Site.

Just won it over the weekend and gave my shipping info to the person running the giveaway. I expect to have it in a week or so.

Maja, the MR in UK looks identical to the Metropolitan in USA to me. Along with a similar colour range.

Who else has them in the US? The Goulet's and isellpens are both sold out.

Goulets are still showing plain gold or silver as available.

It appears likely the UK pens may only have one type of band per colour according to PilotPens EU and CultPens.
Black - Plain
Silver - Dots
Gold - Zigzag

Yeah, I entered three different contests this month and won zilch. My husband got a total of 4 scratch & win lottery tickets for his birthday and won on 3 of them! I did, however, find $14 in an old coat of his I'm donating to a charity that helps homeless people

The light gold or champagne colour isn't too bad.

On Writetime the Goulet's said they ordered more in.
I think the biggest worry is Pilot raising the price because there is such a demand for these pens.
