Default Trying to Identify Pen - Please Help

    Hmb4.jpgmb3.jpgmb2.jpgmb1.jpg

    Hello,

I am trying to identify this particular Mont Blanc Fountain Pen model. My father purchased it in 1994 from a Duty Free Shop so its authenticity is not in question. Thanks in advance for any help.

It is a 149 dating from ca. 1992-95: two-piece barrel, two-tone 18K nib. I can't see the feed clearly, but assume it is the first-generation plastic. Nice pen.

Don't remove that sticker that says F on it means fine nib and it makes it more collectible being intact! Very desirable pen you have there would love another in my collection

Remove the sticker and put it with the box. If you leave it on it will simply get worn away, look fugly and eventually leave a spot the same shape as the label.

While someone might pay more for a pen with the sticker still on it they will be about as common as the folk that pay extra for a car with the original MSRP papers still on the window.
