Is $190 a good price to pay for a 15 year old MontBlanc 146 without papers and box ?

If it's in working order, yes. I would say that a modern 146 in excellent and un-engraved condition should be 180-270. I would say average is 200-225.

The higher section of that range would pay for a BB or OB/OBB nib or for the platinum version, but it seems the platinum trim ones are dropping to the same prices as the regular 146 as more and more of them come onto the used market.

For a modern 149, add $100ish to all the above prices for a fair estimate.

That's fair for an undamaged 146.

$200 - $250 is probably the ball park based on condition, etc. Different versions of the 146 will be more expensive.
