    Default Parker 51 Signet/Insignia With No Date Code

    If I understand the information on ParkerCollector.com with the phrasing on the aero filler, and the made in use on the back of the cap the Signet is from somewhere between 1954 and 1957. I have seen some people mention a small 9 on the bottom of theirs but I don't see anything there. Is the phrasing on the filler and the Made in USA imprint on the back of the cap the only way to tell the approximate date of manufacture?

    US made 51s lost datecodes in 1952. I have had Signets with and without date codes. Without a date code assume production in or after 1952.
