Another good idea - or maybe E6000...

No contest. I would keep the Duofold and I'm confident I could glue the emblem on permanently.

Hi, Perhaps you could have researched a bit, looking for appropriate

adhesives. I found a cyanoacrylate that formed an incredibly strong

bond, and was flexible. I used it to affix a base for a globe gun sight

onto the front of a 30-06 caliber rifle barrel that I used for NRA High

Power target shooting matches. I'm sure that front sight bond

withstood a much stronger jolt than your emblem cap ever did.

Agreed... The Duofold is a classic. And as you mentioned in my Repair forums post, I just need to be more careful.

Gee, I did research. That's why I'm here. This is research. A flexible CA sounds like another good idea...

Thanks David. I've seen that stuff, and wondered about it. But, how would you get the ultraviolet to the adhesive under the decal to cure the glue...

I wonder if fletching glue, it is used on making arrows, would work. I think it's is plastic friendly and pretty strong. Can be purchased at most outdoor sporting goods stores. Might be worth looking at the ingredients on it and doing a little research.

You could try your local Dentist. He may have a strong bonding agent and do it for a laugh for you.

Yup, I'd do something like this to affix it permanently and then be done with it! Glue the thing down tight enough and it's never coming off, even if you want it to.
