    Default Recommendation for rollerball?

    Hi folks,

I am (for some reason) developing an interest in trying a refillable rollerball that will use my bottled ink. I know that Noodler's and jHerbin make them. Any recommendations? Any other brands? I am not looking to spend much money, so cost is a factor. Are they worth the $? It might be only the novelty of the idea that is intriguing me. Is fountain pen ink any good in a rollerball system (not what it is designed for)?

    Default Recommendation for rollerball?

    Visconti Eco-Roller $150
    Monteverde InkBall $40

Don't have my InkBall yet so can't compare the two yet

I have used the Eco Roller for greeting cards

Once I have the InkBall I will compare writing feel for you if you would like

If you want pm your address and I will send you a card with both used

Just out of curiosity are there rollers that write as as fine as a fountain pen can? I have always had issues using them but it seems like they should work pretty well.
My Pinterest Feel free to add me on Facebook as well.

Bought an Eco roller ball. A total waste of money, does not work hardly at all. Awful. Returning it.

I use the little J. Herbin one occasionally. I have had no problem with it, and it works well.

Must be your ink or you are out off the habit of using a Ball Sandy:-)

Eco-ball is overpriced though for what it is penwise

Thanks for all these responses, everyone. Mixed reviews, mixed choices. I'll just keep waiting until I can try somebody else's or until a super deal drifts across my vision. I do own gel pens, but I grow bored of the color choices, and I have big hands and thin pens don't work for me. And I don't really like throwing all the plastic away.

Pm me your address and I will drop you a card so you can see if the line is even worth the pen costs
