This is a beautiful pen. Now that I got the 149 do I really need both? Not sure when I am going to use these pens but they are fun to play with.

You can always trade it if you decide not to keep it

If you are a regular traveller and you prefer to travel with a cartridge pen rather than a piston filling pen, you might decide you need both.
