Ink Miser Intra-bottle Inkwell
I've not tried it (one of my thoughtful and generous pen pals set me up with an empty Akkerman bottle ), but it is a genius idea! I'm thinking about getting one just because it's so cool.
Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.
Nice - and not a bad price for what it does. I think the TWSBI bottles have a little one like this for their bottles too.
Aesthetically, I dislike supporting the production of limited use plastic widgets. Especially, when there are other options available.
Engineering-wise, the fill slit should really be closer to the rim in order to maximize utilization of the last couple mLs of ink.

I agree the fill slot should be nearer the rim. I was thinking of drilling some holes just below the rim for that reason. I suspect that slot probably has more to do with not slopping the ink or running over when you insert the pen.
I quite like the R&K era rapid ink tanks that come in a set of 3 from Seitz-Kreuznach, but I haven't bought them yet.
Goulet's Pens do something similar too as far as I can remember, unless it's exactly the same product from Ink Miser.

I believe the erka rapid is a superior product compared to the ink miser. The color allows to know how many ink is left. They are also cheaper at around 2€ each.

The difference probably isn't worth the overseas shipping for me though. They do look like they have a pocket right in the area of the feed hole that could be useful.
Makes sense.
