This is a Parker Ellipse with Fine Point nib, that I recently acquired. They only made these for about two years and I never had one before. I really like it! It is a good smooth writer and feels very nice in the hand, though it is a bit heavy. Lately, I have been carrying this along with my Parker 75 Cisele, which is almost always with me.

The Ellipse is heavy, but beautifully balanced. And a great companion for the P-75 (and what else but a Cisele!).

None today, but over the past few days, I found I have 2 that have never been inked, and I intend to try them out soon. One is a 1990s Duofold Centennial, pearl & black, M nib, the other is my Norman Rockwell Duofold - I probably will not sell it, so I might as well actually try it with ink. I also have a new Conway Stewart Churchill (BBP version) section and nib I have not tried out - just a new replacement for one I damaged.

Actually there were 3 that I had never been inked - I forgot all about the "100 year anniversary" Duofold Centennial, which I am using now, and it is quite excellent!.
Actually I have too many pens on my desk right now now - I need to pare down.

Not "use" per-se, but I did find new homes for two Parker 51 pens very recently, one aerometric and the other a vac filler.

    This is the aerometric one.

And what makes me happy is that the new owner already used it to create their own artwork.

Of course — they're on their best behaviour outside the Inktober thread.

Well spotted! Yes, it is. I had been using an 18K fine italic in this pen for a while but recently I put back the original 14K XF.
