    Nice one usk15. I like the simplicity of your lines. In some of my efforts, my fingers looked like claws....

    @ Lloyd
    I promise, no more pink ponies
    They also disturb me, but I just couldn’t resist. 🤪

    @usk
    Well done usk, your cars are getting better and better 👍

    @kaputnik
    I see much more than a small amount of progress. 👍
    These are not bad at all.
    Keep it coming

    @yazeh
    Thanks 😀
    Not bad, don’t be discouraged, every drawing is practice and makes us better.
    Also be able to draw claws is s useful ability. (as well as the ability drawing pink ponies) 🤪

    @usk
    I really like your hand. 👍

    I recently bought a new book from Mark Crilley:

    https://www.amazon.com/Mark-Crilleys...s%2C283&sr=8-2
    About drawing hands.

    I didn’t worked all through it but already read enough that I really can recommend it.

    Mark Crilley is an awesome artist, if you don’t already know his YouTube channel check it out.
    And I can also recommend his Manga Brodies Ghost if you are interested in Mangas, awesome story and good drawings (bought it also recently).

    Amazing how easy you can create a tree-dimensional effect just using cross-hatching shadows! Good work, keep it up!

    Last evening scribble, I just started armed only with my mind and a fountain pen to see what happens (without references).
    Plan was to draw a cartoony figure.
    I tried to use a different kind of drawing the shadows (kind of random pattern style) I saw somewhere else and thought it looked interesting, but it did not really turned out as I expected it.
    Therefore I thought coloring it might help and I think it did (kind of).
    Still not satisfied with it, but it was a good exercise.

    Thank you for providing this. Very interesting thoughts.

    As an scientist, I am, however, cautious about what I read. Journalists, while wanting to be knowledgeable, can take scientific information and can draw erroneous conclusions. Most good scientists draw few conclusions from their data. Why? Because what may seem "right" today may be proven "wrong" tomorrow. Scientific knowledge is always growing and changing, and most good scientists realize that and it humbles them. There are those scientists today, however, that would prefer to "cash-in" on current data by drawing conclusions that may be erroneous. And because of our current fascination with sensationalism, the media reports it and the public buys it.

    Glad you enjoyed it Dr. P.
    However, the guy is a scientist. And the program is a CBC science program.
    I read the early chapters of the book and he is humble about it and isn't afraid of showing off his own shortcomings...
