This time I tried some new toys.

I´ve used Rohrer & Klingner Ausiehtusche Schwarz the first time and I´m impressed by it´s blackness and it´s waterproofness, it also shows not the slightest tendency to smudge when erasing sketching pencil lines. This is really good stuff, the blackest and best drawing black I´ve ever used.
The difference to the R&K Zeichentusche (Drawing ink) is that it contain Shellack and it can´t be used for that reason in technical pens.

And I´ve used Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Water colours the first time. Finally I´ve bought a set of water colors in pans.
The colors are amazing, the pigment density is really high, I enjoy using them. (they have to be great considering their ridiculous price).

Currently I watch the second season of Daredevil, and the Punisher is a important figure in that season.
So I tried to draw the Punisher skull with pastels.

Today I introduced my son to use his new Pastel Chalks.
He got a 60 pieces Jaxell Pastel box on Nikolaus day (6. Dez).
We drew the same motif a bell flower for the beginning.
He like the pastel chalks a lot, actually because they are messy to use and easy to blend.

    Well done USK.

    May I suggest something?
You could try to wash the ink, especially the rocks and the sky, to soften how it looks and give it a more organic, natural touch.

Looks great Migo I love it , how comes that we saw so less artwork from you yet.
Do you hide it from us?
Keep it coming we want to see them all!

May I ask you what materials you used?

Look like some water proof black ink.
Did you use FP inks or water colors to colorate it?

Thank you, Ptero. Coming from you I'm very flattered :-)

I haven't been doing much sketching & drawing lately. I've been messing around & having fun with mixed media, trying out all my neglected art materials and paints, & doing some collage. I'll return to sketching after Christmas.

This sketch was done with Sakura pigment fineliners (0.05, 0.1 & 0.2) and Kuretake Zig Clean Colour Real Brush watercolour pens, on Bristol Smooth 300gsm.
