Stayed on a friend's farm recently. I did a coloured pencil drawing of the view of Mount Langi Ghiran, from his verandah.

Very nice!
I have a two-for-one: pen & ink and watercolor pencil.

The glass dip pen takes a minute to learn but I really like it.

I wish I had half the skills of you guys, I went to art school on a saturday morning and did a number of different topics, but in watercolours I always remember just two bits of information, lights colour recede and therefore give depth, dark colours advance and bring the subject forward, the other bit of information was to use a tiny amount of red in a seascape, even if you have to invent it, a number on a sail perhaps. this gives a focal point to the eye and leads you into the picture.
I am sure that this is old hat to you guys but I thought I would chip in!

Great input migo, snowbear
This is the latest fountain pen drawing from my son.
He used 3 fountain pens and a water brush pen.

And this is one of mine.
You remember 'The ant and the Aardvark' ?
Interestingly in the German translation of the show the male Aardvark become a female anteater called 'Die blaue Elise'.

How about something a little different?
A rubber stamp I made (Noodler's 54th Mass rubbed on with rag):

No, they were XActo blades - a gouge and a standard slant blade - the larger one, not the stenciling blade.
I love your work. I really need to slow down.
Sorry - I wasn't clear. I was asking what rubber stamp block/material you used? I've read that Speedy Carve is soft & easy to carve, yet still takes a sharp image. I don't know whether to try making stamps; I'm very clumsy so I'm not sure I should be let loose with sharp blades lol.
And thank you about my work. I'm very lucky as I have plenty of time on my hands to "pootle" aka waste several hours a day sketching 🙂🙂
Yes, these - it's like a big flat pink eraser.

Ra is the Egyptian sun god.
The Eye is an extension of Ra's power, equated with the disk of the sun, but it also behaves as an independent entity.
