I´ve watched another Ghibli movie together with my son, "Howl's Moving Castle" and enjoyed it very much.
Afterwards I was inspired to draw something from the movie, Turnip Head.
I´ve used a dip nib with india ink for the line art and coloured it afterwards with several fountain pen inks using a brush.

I also love these movies, they are masterpieces.


Today I have again a 1 hour Dojo sketch.
I´s Steelbeak from Darkwing duck, a villain that was still missing in my Dojo collection.

Hi Gioner, welcome to FPGeeks, glad that you joined.


Currently my son favors drawing with Copic markers.
This one he created for a contest on DeviantArt for the "Magikarp in Everyday Life Contest".
It shows the Magikarp Pokemon at home relaxing by reading a good book after a long day of Pokemon battles.

I also stayed with the Pokemon topic but created a anthropomorphic version of Charmander (my son created a drawing of Charmander before, see above).
The question for me was how would Charmander look like if it would have a female more human body.

Today my Mom invited the whole family for lunch at her site.

After a really delicious lunch spontaneously my niece (Baby Princess), my son (Fireblade) and myself (Pterodactylus) decided to do a joint sketch session.
So everybody grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and started to sketch a pokemon.

It was a lot of fun, I love such joint drawing sessions.

This is Lady a character designed by Quelity18 on DeviantArt she invited to draw Lady, so here is my interpretation.
I really like her character design.

This is also a new sketchbook I try out, it´s a Hahnemühle Kraft 120 gsm.
I already see that this is only really suitable for dry media, the india ink I´ve used heavily feathers and bleeds (even the R&K ink is a really well behaving ink), to stay fair they recommend this sketchbook also for dry media.
Beside of this it´s a nice one, I like the color and the structure, it grabs the color of the colored pencil well.
